For Debbie Gibson, working around the clock as a pop superstar is not unfamiliar territory. But she soon realized that lack of rest and poor diet choices were affecting her in more areas than just her waistline.

“I was constantly going to the doctor,” says the singer, 41, who once suffered from acid reflux and relied on anti-anxiety meds Prozac and Xanax. “I finally realized my food choices were affecting my health.”
