I worked with her in Cinderella for about 6 months – she was my fairy godmother. Eartha had more energy than all of us at 76 yrs old (that’s when I worked with her). She would get out of that carriage and extend her leg over her head while doing so! She would get all the ensemble boys up early for morning workouts and say in her famous purring voice ‘the early bird gets the worrrrrm!’ She was an amazing woman who was not afraid to speak her mind and went out singin’ and high kickin’!!! She will be missed terribly by all who knew her.
