Jessica Simpson releases her Christmas album on Monday, but 20 years ago, the newly-engaged singer was just a 10-year-old in Texas, celebrating the holidays with her family.

“Me and my sister would always sleep together in the same room when Santa came,” Simpson said on CBS’s Early Show Monday. “I just always remember … both of us were up probably before [my parents] probably wanted to get up. And then we would fight about who gets what.”

I recall on “Before They Were Rock Stars” over a decade ago where Jessica wore a light blue workshirt with a black vest, makes me wonder…

When I first saw the photo I thought that guy looked like Papa Joe Simpson. I didn’t know Jessica had a new album coming out. I really did like her last christmas album even duets with her Ex hubby were fantastic.
