Prior to Deborah’s rise to fame, Diane Gibson worked as an office manager in various doctor offices. She quit her day job to help develop and nurture her daughter’s natural talent as a vocalist and pianist, and guide her through the treacherous waters of the pop music world. She learned about publishing rights, mechanical royalties, deal points, and made one of the most lucrative deals for her daughter that an artist ever had at that time with the legendary Atlantic Records. Throughout her career, Diane has managed several other acts, including the Australian recording artist and TV personality JoBeth Taylor; Chris Cuevas, who scored a few Billboard Hot 100 hits; and Bryan Austin, who had the hugely popular country hit “Radio Active.” Today, she continues to work with and develop new talent.
