  • Puzzled over the whole Deborah/Debbie name…thing. Calling someone by their given name is basic respect, acknowledgment of them as a person, an individual.

    Wanting to be called by your given name and not by a nickname or stagename is not arrogance or sophistication. It is normal.

    Never found it difficult to call you Deborah, Deborah. You are one classy, talented, beautiful lady, Deborah.
