Time stands still for a youthful looking Debbie Gibson as she and Tiffany relive the 1980s for a special TV performance. They say that time waits for no one. But the fate of 80s music stars Debbie Gibson and Tiffany shows that it waits a little bit longer for some more than others. Debbie Gibson looked almost as good as she did in her prime as she romped through some of her hits on top American breakfast show Good Morning America in Central Park, New York today. Debbie, now 40, showed off a body which would be the envy of many women half her age.
She completed two outfit changes which showed off her figure to the max, with a pair of black shorts and bright pink top, before dancing around in a pair of white hotpants. Debbie recently revealed her secret to staying in shape. ‘My abs are all about what I eat and what I don’t eat,’ she told OK magazine. ‘I’m just into taking care of myself and being healthy. I try to save my indulgences for special occasions. ‘It’s very much about the eating for me – and a little working out.’
Meanwhile Tiffany, who won fans around the world with her 1987 hit I Think We’re Alone Now, wore a black and grey mini dress. The duo are getting ready to embark on a Journey Through The 80s tour together, where they will play all of their hits. Tiffany told the morning show that the best part of touring with Debbie was ‘the wardrobe and the fans of course. I think we’re having a good time. ‘We want to journey through the ’80s and all the artists who influenced us,’ the singer told The New York Post about the tour. She added that she and Debbie may perform covers of hits by Stevie Nicks, Reba McIntyre and Guns N’ Roses, as well as Broadway tunes.
