Debbie Gibson is an OMG Guest Judge!

Debbie Gibson’s gonna be on OMG!
Happy Tuesday all! I just got an update from the Channel 5 team that next week’s guest judge is gonna be Debbie Gibson! Ok, I’m sure some of you are probably too young to know who she is. But if you’re as ‘ancient’ as I am – OMG you’d be so excited. For those of you still clueless about her, clickhere for her wikipedia profile. Or go to her offical website here.

Debbie will be in town for the hugeClass 95 Retrolicious concert that will be happening Saturday 9 October. And good job producers on managing to get her on the show – woot!

I’ve always been a huge fan of hers, knew all her songs, had the signature black hat and vest and wore them with the denim cut-offs, stray bits of string danging at the knees. “Lost In Your Eyes” was my ‘anthem’ eventhough I was too young to really know what she was singing about. I still know every word!

This is a huge coup for the show. Debbie is a seasoned performer with tons of credentials to her name. I mean, hey, she’s probably the original ‘teen star’ phenomenon (well, she and Tiffany) waaaaay before the likes of Britney and Bieber, paving the way for success for under 21-year olds. The advice she’ll be dispensing will be priceless – I can’t wait to hear what she’ll have to say about each of the Contenders.

That’s next week to look forward to. In the meantime, tomorrow night will see a very hot guest judge joining the show – Michelle Chia. Its also OMG’s very first live show – peeps at home will be watching everything as it goes down – no time for screw-ups and do-overs from here on in – what you see is what you get.
